So this artist decided to make an actual hoverboard. Amazing!

Plug: Don’t forget you can pick up your own haveboard.com hoverboard t-shirt (or even the Animal Chin Shirt) in the store!

French artist Nils Guadagnin* went out and created a replica of the popular hoverboard from the film, and it actually hovers! Here is an explanation of what type of magic was used to pull it off.

Integrated into the board and the plinth is an electromagnetic system which levitates the board. A laser system stabilises the object in the air.
