Alright, in the hopes of getting something positive going around here, the weather is starting to get nice. Who is up for building some new spots? I don't know jack about pouring concrete, but I know we've all been enjoying the Northern Liberties quarterpipe and it'd be tight to have more shit like that around. Anybody with ideas for other places to build? Who has experience working with concrete? Let's do it!

I honestly think there is enough "trannies" in philadelphia, both skateboarding-wise, and gross freakshow-wise.

    Build LEDGES!

Wouldn't it be funny if somebody built the same goddamn quarter pipe at that spot all over again?

Unfortunately the ledge that the qp was built up against was demolished as well. it's time to scout new locales. I-95 in Port Richmond is prime spot territory. i know I'm prejudiced because I live up by there. But if anybody is down for scouting out some shit next week (wherever that may be), hit me up.

it's the time of year to scare little kids into waxing curbs up for me, and to grab me beer and smokes.

what kind of mix do you use to build street spots? i read that grindline and dreamland use finer grain of sand to make their crete smooth. there's a tranny to jersey barrier in south philly that I go by on the way to work that looks like some kid rode his bike through before it was dry.
