Get Familiar
OK, dudes and dudettes…Get Familiar is out and it’s a doozie! I really love the state of skateboarding right now. We’ve all seen the site, the promos, the Transworld article, etc. It’s very refreshing to see an independently done video with this much hype live up to the hype. and this video does. Chris Hall killed it. The filming and editing are as good as 95% of the videos put out this year, and the skating the same. Why wasn’t Bobby Worrest on all these lists of this year’s best AM? His part is so f’in good. Other highlights include The Gonz, Reese Forbes, Joey Pepper, Donny Barley and 2006 SOTY, Daewon Song. Seriously, what is that like 3 banging video parts this year?! Damn. Darren Harper get’s last part, and well deserved, as this whole project started as his “sponsor me” video. Dude has some crazy pop and steeze for days. I’m going to suggest DGK make him pro for 2007. This video is original in every way, from the spots to the tricks to the skaters themselves. Bottom line is this buy, watch, steal, poach, copy, or live this video. It’s available online at DLXSF.

Yeah Ki, I feel you. I read your MySpace. I had a feeling my take would differ some to someone on the east coast. That’s what I like the most…it’s all over the place. Randomly Refreshing!
