Stay Gold Premiere tonight!
Exit is throwing the premiere for the new Emerica video, “Stay Gold” tonight at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia. The address is 1412 Chestnut St. The all ages premiere starts at 9PM with a full bar for the 21+ crowd. The internet is definitely talking about how awesome this video. McCreesh Kickoff & Block Party Today @ 2
Get out to the McCreesh Block party today. They built a lot of ramps for the 5Boro and Totally guys to demo. It should be a good time. McCreesh Playground, 6744 Regent St. Philadelphia, Pa 2-5pm. The Autumn Bowl has been put up for sale on eBay for $15,000.00. The Landlord is not interested in renewing the lease so it needs a new home. It looks like someone already has dibbs on the mini-ramp. The $15,000 does not include removal or installation. After 7 long years we are selling our well loved bowl. This is your chance to own a skateboarding landmark. Put it in your backyard, skatepark or private warehouse. This one of a kind bowl was built by a team lead by Tim Vanderbas in September of 2003. Endless lines, perfect transitions, tons of fun. This bowl has been skated by nearly every pro out there including Julien Stranger, Lance Mountain, Tony Hawk, Steve Cabalerro, Spanky, Zared Basset…the list goes on and on. The bowl is due for a new layer of birch ply and the pool coping is perfectly worn in. The dimensions are about 45′x45′, 7′ in the deep and about 5′ – 5.5′ everywhere else. Price does not include removal or installation. Bowl must be removed before August 29, 2010, unless other arrangements are made prior to sale. Exit/Es game of S.K.A.T.E. for 2nd Street Festival
Today is the 2nd Street Festival in Northern Liberties and Exit & Es have teamed up to throw down games of S.K.A.T.E. in front of the shop since the whole street will be blocked off. There are 3 stages, a bunch of local vendors, beer, and a dunk tank to keep everyone entertained all day (it goes until 9). I would have posted about this sooner but I didn’t find out about it until this A.M. via facebook.

Bethlehem Skate Plaza Skate Through
I went to the Bethlehem Skate Plaza last weekend and did a little skate through video for you to check out the completed phase 1 of the park. It’s a fun park, for sure. I would have gotten actual skate footage but my flip shit the bed after I recorded the skate through. Big ups to Homebase for all their hard work at making this park happen.

Jesse Clayton is no weekend warrior
Jesse Clayton got a write up in Popular Mechanics for his work at Pop’s Skate Space entitled “Philadelphia’s Volunteer Skateboarder” in their Hometown Heroes section. He organized a group of tradesmen who raised money by throwing beef-and-beer fundraisers and auctioning off hand-painted skateboards. Donations also poured in from the Tony Hawk Foundation and Franklin’s Paine Skatepark Fund, a local skating advocacy group.
