It’s an awesome video for sure.
The music is really good.
The parts are really good..
It’s just one of those videos that is put together the way most skate videos should be.
It’s a film by skater/filmer Chris Mulhern and boasts talents like Bill Sands, Matt Miller, Jimmy McDonald, Devon Connell, Shaun Willams, and many more..
It’s not one of those hammer-time, hype me up to go get down type of videos.
It’s one of those lazy Sunday, let’s pull out the camera, and then go skate down the street and see what happens kind of videos.
It’s not overly dramatic. It doesn’t make me want to cry.
It’s not super fast paced to the point where you wonder if any of these guys know how to push.
It showcases the underdog’s and their buddies and….some of their buddies buddies.
It shows……SKATEBOARDING…
Oh, did I say skateboarding? Yeah. The video actually shows skateboarding. Kids pushing, holding onto cars, ollies, pole jams, street shralping….you know…..SKATEBOARDING..
Remember skateboarding?
It’s that thing you did before your parents bought you that VX.
Before you heard of SPONSOR-ME tapes.
It’s that thing you did with your friends after school and the thing you talked about during it…..
It’s just pretty friggin cool.
I can’t sit here and tell you who did what, because their were a whole lot of “whats.”
It’s one of those videos where you have to watch it a bunch of times to catch all the little snippit tricks that might get overlooked here and there….Then you realize it was something dope you missed.
They didn’t just go to the local ledge and local rail and film a whatever…..They skated all those little spots ON THE WAY to the local ledge and rail, and filmed something awesome.
I’m always in the city, bitching about how there’s nothing to skate..But these guys helped me to see that the city is what you make it.
Go out and shred……
FEW AND FAR BETWEEN is a must see.
Cheers!
Such a relief to see local dudes making such a sick vid. I wasn’t too fond of the music but I’m nitpicking to even say that. The local shops need to take a cue from these guys and get on it. Supposedly a Nocturnal video was in the works two+ years ago. I’m going to assume they gave up on that venture.
But yeah. Awesome to see dudes street skating fun little spots in Philly. This is the video I’ve been waiting for since Eastern Exposure 3. Again, hopefully people will take note and get back out on the streets.
I really enjoyed this video. It WAS refreshing to see pushing, and no big stair clips flashing every other second.
I’d love to see more of these dudes on haveboard.
Chris Mulhern, give a shout!
I’m a big Belle & Sebastian fan…so there were no complaints from me..
Awesome dudes,creative skating,great filming,two thumbs up
this vid is the illy.
shit sucked, music was real gay and emo, spots were beat, dudes were beat, tricks were whack, editing was fucked up, all and all……… worst vid ever
Yo,
Is this video up on skatevideos.net or whatever sight Ki was referring to?
Peace,
Santa
Yo Santa, why don’t you go LOOK on that site and see for yourself. I don’t think so though.
Yo Haveboard,
Actually, I just remembered, I did a search and it wasn’t there.
Bah Humbug.
Santa, If you weren’t such a lazy fuck, maybe you wouldn’t be such a fat ass!
I’m gonna be hangin’ out with haveboard this holiday season!
sdfdsf
SO sk8erH8ter if you hate skateboarding so much, then why are watching the video you douche bag! Your comments SUCK.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it..
later
did you guys even see “bag of suck”
I don’t know that you can compare FAFB with the enjoi video. One was made by a major skateboard company and one by a couple dudes from Temple (I believe).
I think what everyone (myself including) is saying is that it’s nice to see a video like this made locally.
