  1. Around the time that first video was filmed, I got to skate with Ray at a contest in AZ. He is/was one of the nicest dudes ever…first class in every way. Thanks for this post Stein! Good looks.

  4. Fuck yeah dude. Ray Barbee is definitely what’s up. I remember how psyched I was when the Firm video came out and you could tell he actually TRIED (unlike every Mark Gonzales part of the past few years).

  10. i dont think so. they took lance and tx after the firm peaced but i think ray either got left behind or didnt care to be on anything new. truthfully flip would be a pretty crummy fit for him and im glad hes just doin his thing and not milking a check. the dude is an unfadeable class act.

    gonzo is right- that show was awesome! even if i had no ears, getting to hang out with those 2 and just shoot the shit was a awesome moment (at least for me).

  11. Aw man, I wish I was at that show. I’ve never met Ray, but the guy always has a smile on his face. He and Chuck oughta make a video part together. Two ulta-positive dudes making an ultra-sick part. That’s what’s up.
