emerica reps the pimp game!

I really am at a loss for words on this one. Amazing skaters are getting booted off teams left and right and who is getting the next shoe on Emerica? It aint Suski, its The Muthafuckin Bishop Don “The Magic” Juan! Now I know that the green is for the money and the gold is for the honey but is this a sign that the “limited collabo” craze is sort of “jumping the shark”? Somebody let me know.

  1. My theory is that hip hop culture is at the point now that hair metal was in the late 80s – just completely ridiculous bullshit.

  2. I’m more perturbed at the fact that the dude is a pimp. I don’t care how played limited shoes are, but to reward someone who provides so little to society is an absolute disgrace.

  3. “I dont’ understand your post write more clearly”

It is written as clear as day. Maybe you don’t get any of the references. Google “Jump the Shark”.

  4. Oh please don’t put Hip-hop and Don Magic Juan in the same sentence. It’s pathetic that Emerica is making a limited shoe with this talentless, B list groupie. It’s even more pathetic that said limited shoe is just another Dunk rip off. It’s as if they didn’t even try and they don’t even care.

  5. ive seen uglier shoes. they remind me of some old british knights with some la gear flare tacked on. i would have imagined this shoe coming out of supra or something way before emerica but a pimp gotta get that chedda.

  6. Yea, the hip hop thing is lame as shit. (except for Cannibal Ox and Quiet Rage, who are both genuine as can be) Shit’s changing right now. Remember how 1990 was the transition period between the stale shit of the 80’s and the new shit of the 90’s? Both popular culture and skateboarding are going thru this change again. And just like in 1990, there’s a lot of corny shit that’ll pass real quick.

  7. suski is getting to do some colorways on the new emerica shoe that looks like the first ellington shoe. not sure if his name is going to be attached or not, but i guess its basically his shoe. that shoe above is just showing that everybody wants a piece of that niche market nike created.
