Somone get this guy a board sponsor. Since the end of his tenure at City, it seems like Pete has been left in the shadows. Ripping still and leaving his mark at spots, it makes me wonder if living on the east is all it’s cracked up to be. He definitely has the talent and the charisma……So what more does he have to do?? He’s always been one of those guys I looked up too as far as East Coast skating goes. I remember him killing practically every time I saw him. When I see guys like him get looked over, I get even more humbled and appreciative of the opportunities given to me. I bet opportunity is knocking on Pete’s door right now…he’s just too busy out skating to hear it….
i couldnt agree more. whats the deal? i could see him on zoo or back on stereo maybe? i heard that adidas put him on and then when city dropped him they were like “youre not pro now, peace”. bullshit! further evidense that they have no clue and should be shown the door. maybe this is its own topic but fuck adidas. theyve had the best dude forever and never made him a decent shoe or ever been able to get them into a skateshop. they have all the resources to be amazing yet continually drop the ball. every skate shoe looks like a stan smith already!
