Private TF’s

Shit…It’s weird, but has anyone noticed the popularity of private TF’s in the skate community? Berra & Koston have one…Bam has one…Kerry HAD one…Zero has bi-weekly podcasts of thier riders skating theirs..Companies are actually starting to capitolize on it..People were hating for a while…but from what I’m noticing…the most ridiculous shit has been going down in some of these..private TF’s…

  6. People that complain about a terrain….usually…can’t skate it. I don’t skate FDR….but I don’t complain about it. Respect to the guys that skate it. Nowadays, you gotta skate what you got. Shit is sparse. Especially a good ledge. If you are one of the selected people to have a little slice of heaven….skate the shit out of it…Kerry’s TF saved my life in the wintertime. So skate what you got.

  9. Private facilities are what we have come to in order to do what we love to do. Skateboard, hassle free. While efforts are being made by many to secure public skate facilities everywhere, those same people want something NOW. Skateboarders aren’t just punk kids anymore. A lot of us have real jobs which allow them to contribute with a bunch of trusted friends to share keys to a private spot. Who’s complaining about spots? You, Ki? “People that complain about a terrain….usually…can’t skate it.” you always love to make generalizations to stir up drama. Why do you want skateboarding to be a soap opera?

  10. Skateboarding was a big soap opera waaaay before I stepped on the scene. So I said something on here people didn’t like….So..It’s opinion. Sorry I don’t have an art show to talk about or some topic about FDR or Franklins Paine…Maybe next time.

  11. Don’t get all defensive. I know it is opinion. But for you, it is a predictable constant that you just post things to stir up drama. Why do you have to focus on the negatives and what people complain about. Keep the scene positive, because, as you said, the drama has been here long before you. You just seem to like to keep it going. I’m just busting your balls about it, and your panties are all in a bunch, now. I haven’t heard anyone complaining about spots lately, so that’s why I called you out.

  13. I posted something about a TF and people starting hating. Period. I’m not complaining about spots..I have been to a few people’s TF’s and like them. Sometimes you get to see skateboarding that doesn’t ordinarily get done in the streets. That’s all I’m trying to showcase. I thought it was cool. Sorry if it ruffled feathers because it wasnt “real street” or whatever bullshit label everything has to be given. Last time I checked….switch flip back nosegrinds are legit on anything you do it on.

  21. I like to ride my skateboard anywhere, anytime, on anything. As long as its not in a mall. I feel more liberal about puffing blunts while i skate if its at a private jawn. As much as i like playing with my skateboard i hate being classified as a skateboarder and being mixed up with you trendy ass predictable followers. If that offends you then it must be true. By the way Ki was destroying a certain skatepark ledge yesterday with alot of flip-in type shit. And smooth. Skills for miles but the soap opera is for women, homeboy.

  24. When you have an indoor spot, be sure to keep your trash in check. Remember the fart clouds at the TF? I suppose this applies to any spot, really.

  27. this shits soo funny to read on here sometimes. anyone ever skate them triangle ledges before. their at a playground off of girard avenue i think at like 8th and brown or something. if you want a ledge skate that. just have a couple friends with you that got your back if you know what i mean…

  34. I was there when that shit went down at Bam’s. Chris Cole & Kyle Frederick put on a demo for sure. It was a great time. I got pretty drunk and past out in my car at Rexs after Bam’s. Great time.

  41. Hey, P.Gush is my witness….I DID skate Love about 2 weeks ago..haha..But I will admit..I stopped skating in the city a long time ago. I usually drive pretty far to skate…that’s why my car is loaded with miles..I just recently started skating the city again, and it’s crazy to see all the new faces…Shit, I even saw Damian Smith at Love…rare treat..
