Patrick Kerr Skatepark / Roslyn PA

I got a message from Rory Mcclure: “Over the past month the Roslyn skate park has really taken shape. As you can see from the pictures the bowl is almost ready to pour and the bowled out mini ramp is coming together nicely. Pat and Tz could use a hand any day your free. They’re at the site 7 days a week from 8 a.m. on so if anyone can spare even a few hours it will be greatly appreciated.

2818 Hamond Ave. Roslyn, PA is the address of the boys and girls club attached to Roslyn park. From the boys and girls club, walk across the baseball field and you’ll see the skate park next to the basketball court.”

I also got word from Liz Kerr that Tony Hawk will be stopping by the park while the Boom Boom Huck Jam is in town. He has been a personal sponsor of the Scholarship and has shown a great deal of support for the park.

  1. The park is looking incredible. They just recently poured out the pyramid and it looks ill. Grind box on top of it and all that jazz. They’re putting in a bowl corner after you come down from the pyramid to provide some flow. The bowls are being poured very soon, but just looking at the skeleton of it, I already found tons of lines. It’s gonna be off the hook.

  2. 7-stair and the escalator pocket were poured yesterday. the marble/granite for the grind boxes looks amazing and 2000 bricks were just donated. Little bowl might be poured on Monday.

  3. Wow, just went up there yesterday and they poured the cradle-ish section with 2 slanted bowl corners, which doubles as a spine to the smaller bowl. Looks off the hook.

  4. Checked the park out yesterday and they have started to build some sort of circular center piece… got my fingers crossed on something reminiscent of the Temple brick fountain hahaha…

  5. ah man, how i miss the ol’ SAC fountain at temple. i learned front rocks on that little guy

  6. they are in fact recreating the fountain gap they will also be adding a brick planter with a bench embedded into it for gaps and grinds/slides. the bowls are beautiful transfer possibilities basically endless. bowled corner will be most excellent. i aided in the foundation laying of the pyramid. i frequent the park and have donated countless hours to the construction of this most wonderful gift that i will most definitely enjoy. if you skate at all you need to check this park out take my word. word to that dude on thomson rd with the massive fliptricks. sb320

  7. I just stopped by the park today, its looking soo perfect i seriously can not wait to skate it, i just wanna say thank you SO much to everyone thats been helping out in bringing this INCREDIBLE park to life. Rest in peace Pat.
