I walk by your new shop every day on my way to and from work. It’s shaping up real nice (at least what I can see on the outside). I might have to reconsider my shop loyalty based on this new found convenience.

Shop loyalty… I think it’s okay to like more than one shop. I do. Exit, Sub, Noc: they’re all real skateshoppes.
george- based on the fact that you listed sub which has been gone for over a month and been dwindling the last decade coupled with your spelling of the word “shop” in the olde timey fashion, im guessing you dont go in them very often. hands down the best shop in philly! cant wait!

No, I don’t. Not so much anymore. I only get a new board, what, once every two or three years? Ha! I ran Local Skateboards with Old School John back in the day, so I’ve had my fill. And does this mean there are only two shops in Philly? Wouldn’t that then arguably make Exit the better shop? Ah, I like everybody.
Exit? Yeah, they have a great vibe going for sure. I like the fact that you don’t feel awkward when you walk in there. Nothing but smiles, handshakes and shit talking. Steve knows what the people want, and he definitely does his best to look out. They don’t have some crazy image there to uphold. You can tell right away that it’s there for the artist/skateboarder. I hope to see that shop do great things someday…..oooops..my bad…They already are. Cheers Exit!!
