Our good friend and fellow haveboard.com author “The Other” Rob Reed has a show coming up this first friday in Lancaster, PA. You’ve seen plenty of Rob’s work here on haveboard.com. If you are in Lancaster (or have the means to get there) this upcoming first friday you should really check out his show.

5:30pm until 8:00pm
Lancaster Public Library will open the “Life Rafts” exhibit by local photographer Robert Reed for First Friday on August 3rd at 5:30pm. The photography will be displayed throughout the month in the library’s gallery.
Throughout his career, Robert has photographed former presidents, famous actors, and professional athletes. But more than anything else, he has photographed skateboarders.
For the past eight years the now Lancaster-based photographer has been shooting skateboarding in southeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. The images in this show come to you from the streets of Philadelphia and the drainage ditches of Texas. They come from backyard ramps, public skateparks, and street corners you pass each and every day.
Participate in family activities, meet the artist, enjoy light refreshments, shop our Juliana bookstore, and borrow books, DVDs, and CDs.
