I was watching that hosoi documentary just the other day and Eric Dressen was being interviewed and had some funny shit to say. Since then i have been consumed by all of his old video parts.

Ricky Oyola once told me a story about Eric Dressen. Back when Ricky had no sponsors he went to Cali to get a few. And, this is how I remember the story, Ricky might disagree, and this story means no disrespect to Rick, it’s more about props for Dressen. He said when Eric Dressen dropped in at the same time as him during a miniramp snake session, that he got the hell out of his way.

My first good skateboard was a santa cruz dressen with the 4 roses. He’s been an all time favorite for a longtime…I then later met him my first trip to Cali and got to skate a ramp with him, kick it. That Dude is FUCKING AWESOME.
