Remember these? There was a times when you would just go out and shred everything in you path. There was no driving to a spot and skating for the day. Everywhere you went WAS the spot. RAils became that welcomed addition to the board, before there were heavy amounts of wax. Everyone had that one good double-sided curb in the center of town where you would slide it for miles. I think everyone who grew up skating in the early 90’s had a little CAb, Tommy Guerrero, or Danny Sargeant in them. My friends and I used to line up parking blocks and see just how many we could all do. Sliding was and still is one of the best feelings in the world. You feel weightless. The concept of it all is truly amazing. I saw this kids board when I was a skate camp and I swear, my eyes literally lit up. I asked him where he got it from and he told me his dad used to skate. The torch has been passed.
