Do you remember when you were 10? How would you have responded if you were told your school was getting an after school skateclub? Well, right here in Philly, that’s the case for the students at a few public schools.

The Skateboard Advocacy Network is looking for volunteers to help in its push to promote skateboarding in Philadelphia by providing skateboarding opportunities to Philly kids.
One afternoon a week, for one hour. Clubs take place at the school, and when it gets cold outside the club moves into the gym. That’s right, a smooth indoor spot during the cold months. Skateboarding happens only if you make it.
