this is annoying at first, but kinda true. STREET skaters seem to take a billion tries to land stuff sometimes. I capitalized street because tranny skaters seem to usually be on lock. i do know without flip tricks its a bit easier to be more consistant, so dont come at me about bowl skating or flip tricks or whatever… but its pretty true. number of tricks down at FDR vs the number of tricks that go down at a street spot? huge difference… yes, i do know every street skater is gonna hate me for this post

I’d think it was funnier if it wasn’t done by Sprite. Jokes CAN perpetuate incorrect stereotypes.

i will admitt that the general public (most if the people i work with) allways tell me they never see any kids on the street ever landing anything)… some examples: 1.the loud clang you just heard over your shoulder and are now gawking at is yes, a skater picking up his board and jumping back on it cause he didn’t land his trick. 2. the general public isn’t gonna remember if they just saw Dudeman #1 shredding down braodway blasting tre flips.. (unless they are an impressed youngster who will most likely start skating)..which is the antithesis of the terds who made this commercial.
3. Skating tranny is for old men who are t0o DrUnK and too tired too push anywhere thus they(me) build a ramp in there backyard and never get too gnarly (w/ the exception of a chosen few who also can kill shit on street) 4. sprite just got a bunch of skaters to use the word “sprite” more then they normally would otherwise. *NEGATIVE PUBLICITY IS STILL PUBLICITY* 5. sprite tastes like shit and i could care less anyways

The whole idea of “street vs vert” is hugely pathetic. Anyone who looks down on terrain is making a fool of them selves. The better you are the more you can ride, period.
I like skateboarding. I landed a bunch of tricks yesterday. Both on street, and on transition. The internet keeps me busy while I’m at work. Skateboarding is dumb, unless I’m riding one.

wow who cares if it takes a street skater longer to get a clean land it is alot more impressive to see someone ollie a 20 set than it is to watch someone go back and forth on a vert ramp, oww wow lip trick oh dang he just did another one wow so much diversity

I think mustardstache gets the award from dumbest comment in recent memory here on haveboard. As I’ve gotten older I’ve definitely started to love transition more, but the street is still where its at. I really hope he was joking.
Do they even make remotes with “vert buttons” anymore? The one I have only has the “dramatic art scene” button…I’ve definitely pushed that many a time recently.
