Monday’s at Kung-Fu Necktie (McRad next week)

Happy new year everyone. I took a mini vacation so things have been a bit dead around here. Well, it’s 2009 and time to start updating again. Movie Mondays will return, a redesign is in the works, and we now have an official weekly skate event:

McRad will be playing a show at Kung Fu Necktie on Monday, January 12th to benefit the next DIY skatepark / spot after POPS Playground is finished. There will be raffles for product supplied by Exit Skateshop and Circa. $2 ZOLA cocktails will be available from 9pm – 11pm, as well as a yet-to-be-determined beer special. Skaterock DJs will be spinning afterwards to keep the vibe going.

KFN is located at 1250 N Front St (Front and Thompson streets). Come out and support DIY concrete parks!

PS. If you don’t know already, Mondays at KFN will be “Skate Nights”, with skaterock DJs playing records and skate vids on the screen. In the future we will be hosting video screenings, more benefit shows and other skate-related events. Treece’s boy C-Sharp is playing skaterock records tonight, so come out if you can.
