Exit Grand Opening Reception

This Friday, March 6th, 2009 from 6 to 9PM at 825 N. 2nd Street in Northern Liberties, join us in celebrating Exit‘s move to a fresh new location.

I’m reaching out to all the close friends of EXIT to let you know what’s been going on. The past couple of month’s have been beyond crazy for small businesses like EXIT. Independent shops have been shutting down left and right, while the banks, automakers, and any other money hungry bigwigs with a hand to beg have done nothing short of that. The small independent music stores, skateboard shops, art galleries, venues, etc that have been fighting for their communities since day one have been forced to throw in the towel and call it quits.

WE ARE NOT READY TO STOP FIGHTING!

EXIT was a shop built on it’s love for Skateboarding, and it’s community. No matter where we’ve been or where we will go, our passion will only grow STRONGER by the day. At this point in time EXIT is ready to make a huge move in a positive direction, and when people ask “Why?” The answer is and always will be “To keep pushing.”

This Friday March 6th will be the first of many amazing events. We hope to keep up the pace and have an endless amount of skate jams, art shows, video premieres, live music etc. to keep pushing the scene. Let me know what you think and what you want to see happen and we will make it happen.

Spread the word! Let your friends know who we are and what we are about!

The spot is really rad and in a much better location. Also, within the coming month, there will be a relaunch of ExitPhiladelphia.com that I am very honored to be working on.

  1. Man. Tough Shits tonight, karaoke tomorrow, and this on Friday? I’m spending Saturday in bed.

  2. Good luck to EXIT in their new location!!! One of the great independent skate shops in the Phila. area. Keep it coming and Don’t Stop Fighting!
