William Spencer Flips Out

He’s at it again. William Spencer does more wild and wacky tricks. Why are we not seeing flicks of this kid in the magazines? Seriously, Simon Woodstock got a cover standing on a fish tank. I found the video on South of the North.

  1. Love it, love it. William Spencer, Gou Miyagi, Louie Barletta, Richie Jackson. Love ’em all. Skateboarding is still art! And I bet there are a hundred kids leaving hateful comments on YouTube.

  2. i liked this part. it had a lot of fun creative stuff and it had some normal stuff too. i wasnt a huge fan of his last part, it seemed sorta corney, but this one was real sick.

  3. This guy is nuts..i think when people use the saying…”You’re gonna break your neck.” in reference to skateboarding, this may be what they’ve seen…

  4. That was rad. I love the Pee-Wee music to go with his circus style. and yes, that alley-oop wallride was amazing. Also, props to nugget on the find and very clever post title.

  5. actually most of the youtube comments are positive, I think the difference is before he seemed more serious and now you can tell he at least has a sense of humor about himself, skating to journey is funny. that’s why simon woodstock got away with it, imagine if he didnt dress like a clown and demanded respect.

  6. I could totally hate… but I wouldnt… This dude is raddddddd. I only hate on sheckster and P-RODigy. Cause I love fun. Ohh, consider this my drunkest post everrrr. Sorry Haveboard.

  7. I think the problem with Paul Rodriquez (and many other skateboarders today) is that when you skate absolutely flawlessly, it can be a little boring to watch. A little bit of sketchiness can make a hard trick actually look hard.

  8. Fuck yea, Rob! Dave Hunt’s the fuckin’ man, because he looks like he could die at any second.

  9. Naw. You can’t hate on flawlessness. That’s the ultimate goal is to stick everything bolts. Nothing feels better than stomping a trick so perfect that it felt like the board never left your feet. P-Rod & Shecks…they practice. They worked. And that’s why they are who they are today. Can’t knock a person who mastered what they do. You can only respect it.

  10. DOOOOD. Don’t fucking PRACTICE skateboarding. I practice baseball (not really, just sayin). Practice makes skateboarding no fun. Yeah, learn new shit, but have a good time. Don’t make doing what you enjoy into a fuckin stress-fest. Goddamn. This is my sober post for the day.

  11. God forbid anyone gives skateboarding their all. Don’t call it practice…You can call it whatever you want for all I care. You try a trick until you make it. Then you keep trying it until you have it on lock. Watch these guys skate in real life and trust me..you will be inspired.

  12. For once, I’d love for comments to not end up completely off topic and debating jocks in skateboarding.

  13. Actually, the ratio of jock-debate posts to non-jock-debate posts is pretty high. Most of the posts on Haveboard do indeed stay on topic. And they’re mostly positive, too. It’s much nicer than YouTube.

  14. Do you think William Spencer “practices” his backflips? That would be very jockish of him to do so…oh, and uncool…because that’s not proper skateboarding…

  15. kis got proper skateboarding on lock. skate the smallest grindbox you can find and skate it all day, but once you leave the skatepark, its all about pretending your street on the internet. cheers to ki! keep skateboarding real! see you at the next 6 inch grind box sesh!

  16. oh shit… sorry, i didnt realize. sunshine and rainbows and puppy dogs. 2009 here i come!

  17. Yo errrrbody hates and don’t say you don’t. Just cause I don’t think PROD and SheckSticks have the right way of going about skateboarding does not mean that I think I am completely right. Yeah maybe I should try harder with my skating, but I don’t think I should be considering what I do “practice.” Shit, maybe I should try harder at not drunk-posting on Haveboard. My bad everyone.

  18. Yup, that’s me..I am like a little box bloodhound….Funny thing is..I’m 6’5 tall…so just about every grindbox is small to me..I would like to thank G Money for watching my grindbox antics..you make my view count on YouTube go up and my grindbox sponsors happy…

  19. haha, ive seen u in person… not online, so i know how small the shit u skate is… anyway… back to happy times… yay skateboarding!

  20. yeah, that’s me…i have no pop at all. well stop building small shit and i’ll stop skating it….i gotta be careful with what I “officially” skate from now on…the “referees” are watching….fun in the 09′ just got a little more strict.

  21. Seriously GMoney and Ki, Please dead this argument. You guys need your own forum just to bitch back and forth to each other. This has nothing to do with the post anymore and I’d prefer not to start closing comments early or blocking users. GO skate, stop bitching about other people on the internet.

  22. haha im just busting his balls. i find it pretty funny actually… im just hatin on the hater… cause thats how we do on the internet!

  23. It’s all good. G-money & I are cool. It’s the Internet. G-money, next time you see me, introduce yourself and we’ll share a slurpee. It’s the 09’….we gotta squash the dumb shit.

  24. I’m reserving all serious commentary until son gets in a pool, gets on some terrain that doesn’t require instant improvisation,(ramp, park)or begins busting this nutty, nutty shit going DH at 40+mph. otherwise? Between this kid and Richie Jackson, the rest of y’all can go home for a decade–you’re just in the way. None of this “stand in one section of the parking lot and do flippy shit until the lights come on’bullshit HERE-holmes is an action-adventure hero–and you better recognize–THIS IS THE FUTURE. Love him or hate him–he’s better and stronger than you,me,and 90%of the motherfuckers under contract right now.
