The interweb is buzzing this afternoon about Koston leaving Lakai. I don’t buy it. Unless he announces who his new shoe sponsor is, I’m gonna say this is just a publicity/marketing stunt to also make a video with a shoe throwing parody like what happened to former president Bush a few months ago.

I didnt believe it until I got so many texts about it. Lakai seemed like such a big deal for him to get on. Money wise, Nike is the only company I could really see him being on. Times are tough. He’s gotta pay that Berrics rent somehow.

not saying they have credibility, i just think vans makes SOME good shoes… but honestly, even though rumor has it that hes on nike, im just hoping he made the better choice to go with an actual skate company rather then nike or addidas or something

That’s a tough call to judge what we saw on WWR. Alot of pros rock other brands when not in the limelight. I’ve seen that firsthand…Chillers are chillers. But to be on Vans? There is no way….that would be insane.
