Teenage Bottlerocket – “Skate Or Die”

Picture 16

Teenage Bottlerocket, a pop-punk band from Laramie, Wyoming, have released the first video from their third album, “They Came From The Shadows.” The song “Skate Or Die” is the first track on their Fat Wreck Chords debut.

Guitarist/vocalist Kody Templeman told SPIN.com, “When I was growing up and getting into punk rock, it went hand-in-hand with skateboarding. [‘Skate or Die’] is an homage to that whole scene when it was joined together, whereas now punk rock and skateboarding are kind of at ends with each other.”

The video features skateboarding by Otto Pflanz, courtesy of Conspiracy Skateboards. You can watch more footage of Otto on YouTube here, here, and a Conspiracy Skateboards trailer here.

Teenage Bottlerocket’s album, “They Came From The Shadows”, is available on CD, LP, and digital download from Fat Wreck Chords or you can download an mp3 of “Skate Or Die” and read the full article at SPIN.com.
