Jesse Clayton got a write up in Popular Mechanics for his work at Pop’s Skate Space entitled “Philadelphia’s Volunteer Skateboarder” in their Hometown Heroes section.
He organized a group of tradesmen who raised money by throwing beef-and-beer fundraisers and auctioning off hand-painted skateboards. Donations also poured in from the Tony Hawk Foundation and Franklin’s Paine Skatepark Fund, a local skating advocacy group.
Jesse rules!!!
