man i wish i could be up there for the opening. im proud of all the shit my brother built there. you need to build a bowl in my backyard someday chris!! i’ll be up in august to shred the finished product. can’t wait!
I was down there today for the pour I can’t wait to skate the finished park. Jesse is killing it everyone should be giving him some serious thanks for busting his ass to get this place built.
Without getting too into anything, the park will be about 95% done for the opening. Jesse and a ton of other people have been working their asses off (for free) to get it as close to completion as possible by the 25th. A lot has been poured since that video was made, and a lot will be done in the next week or so. If it doesn’t look like enough to you, people are there Sunday-Wednesday building starting at about 9am and the more people that come, the faster things will move along. Less talk, more pouring concrete.
Awesome. Gonna be in Baltimore shredding that day, but hope the opening goes well!! Props to Jesse & company for pumping a little blood into a tattered Philly skate scene.
I will never be able to say this enough. thank you, to all the volunteers that came out. from the people who were there from the beginning to the people who were there one day. it wasnt possible without you.
