1. Sorry the compression is kinda weak – its like 20 megs…Compression is a bitch…

2. iMovie export -> expert settings -> broadband medium makes a 320×240 file that averages 2mb per minute. Most of the videos on here are saved that way.

6. I am using Final Cut and all the options and stuff let you specify everything, as compared to iMovie where they make most of the decisions for you…just gotta play around with it
