Surf Expo

I went down to the Surf Expo to check out the status of the industry with Focus Skateboard Magazine.

The highlight was the gigantic miniramp built by Tim Kulas Team Pain (edited July 15th, 2009 – HB), but most of the time I was hovering around the Ergophobia booth. They had all the special attractions.

I think the only real skateboard company that had a presence there was Stimulus. Everything else was pretty much corporate.

volcom has the results of the contest, and a video on their site.

More video junk soon. This video is also on youtube

  1. oh yeah i forgot to mention that I filmed this with a point and shoot camera. a canon jawn. get your barf bags out kids.

  2. the switch between white & yellow is an excellent example of my professional videography skill. don’t sweat the technique.

  3. That ramp’s hot. Somebody had to try the drop from the top of that elevated quarter, down into the mini ramp. Somebody? Anybody? Or was that just a relic of 1999?
