Potential Vice President’s stance on Skateboarding

On Palin:

*Palin Supported Penalties for Using Skateboards on Public or Private Property in Wasilla.
Beginning Oct. 15 after the expected opening of the $233,000 Wasilla Skate Park skaters will be breaking the law if they use their skateboards, in-line skates, bicycles, scooters (or any other recreational, non-motorized wheeled device) on public or private property where signs are posted forbidding their use.

The Frontiersman added, In the ordinance approved Monday, the penalty for first-time violators of the ordinance is a written warning and the skate device may be confiscated for 10 calendar days. For a second offense, a $50 fine shall be paid and the skate device may be confiscated for 30 calendar days. A third-time offender will have to pay a $100 fine and will lose his or her skate device permanently. [Frontiersman, 9/18/98]

  1. another example of what a crud cake she is. sad thing is that probably most of the people in both parties support the same shit.

  2. she looks like a bitch and she is a bitch. what is the purpose of supporting banning skating in public? no matter what fines and penalties we get we wont be stopped

  3. I’d have her lick my balls, and before i’d stick it in i’d front crail her titty uhhhhhhh

  4. 1. The role of vice president has no bearing on whether or not skateboarding will be banned. Vice pres. is kind of an insignificant role. Skateboarding laws are decided by town and city councils. 2. She’s from Alaska, there’s not a whole lot to skate up there anyway, a $233,000 park is like a blessing up there. 3. Of course she’s not going to understand skateboarding. Any politician with little or no knowledge of skateboarding would assume a skatepark would be plenty for kids that skate, thus alleviating the need for skating on any places outside of that park.

  5. I’m calling bullshit on the above post. You’re either blind to how politics actually work…or just foolish. This election is “more of the same” vs a roll of the dice. You got one old guy that we all know the type of bullshit to expect, and one young guy whom we don’t know what type of bullshit to expect. Obama is getting my vote, but not because I have any respect for him or believe anything in those fancy speeches. My vote is strictly based on the Supreme Court. I can’t possibly sit by and have the possibility of up to 3 evangelical douche bags getting placed in lifetime appointments. Seriously though if you’re not Lockheed, Boeing, Comcast, Wal-mart, etc…no body (including Obama) gives a flying FUCK what you think or more importantly what you want.

  6. ok here is wat i dont understand in the post about the one city in colorado legalizing skateboarding people were whinein about the fact that it takes out of skatin and it makes it less fun. now this lady has pretty weak laws set up against skatin and people are whinein. just skate as much as you can and thats all you need to worry about. We should just stay out of politics

  7. Im going to have to agree with the comment above. You all complain about it being legalized on the post before, but now are upset that this women set up weak laws for it. You really all are just old men that want something to bitch about. Its so funny to read the contradicting comments from one post to the next. I’m sure there will be a complaining comment about this one… ha ha
