Greg – Corner air – Roslyn

Finally made it to Roslyn the other day to see for myself what all the fuss was about. Yeah, the hours and the helmets suck, but that place is SICK. It is way bigger than I thought it was going to be and not that packed at all. The bowls are super gnarly. Well worth the trip.

On a side note, I was editing this photo while waiting for my oil change at the Honda dealership when I noticed somebody looking over my shoulder and asking what I was working on. I’ll be damned if it wasn’t Ricky Oyola. Small fucking world.

  1. I made it to Roslyn on a 95 degree sunny afternoon last week. Yes, it’s hot with no shade and yes the rules and hours stink. But seriously, the terrain is unique and fun. I had a blast learning how to drop in on the pools and the rest of the park has crazy amounts of flow. I give it a thumbs up but if you want to stay away, more runs for me. Pat and TZ did a great job.

  2. Nice pic. I would have liked to see Greg in action there, he is fun to watch kill places…

I’m hoping they keep the Sunday morning sessions open because thats my free time on the weekend to skate.

  3. I saw a gnarly slam there… some guy dropped in on the deep end, fell straight to flat, shooting his board out of the shallow where it hit some kid in the head, then dropped into the shallow end of the other bowl where it smacked a 3rd kid in the shin while he was pumping.

  4. I broke my fucking leg on the 1st in that damn big bowl. Fucking place is gnarly.
