Health insurance is like the 3rd worst thing to talk about in a conversation. Its like never talk religion, politics and now health care. That’s how bad it is. This video is really eye opening. Thanks for sharing. I don’t have health insurance and i’m just one ankle roll away from a college education size debt just for skateboarding. For most of us this is the case.
I know Lee. Since before he left the midwest for Phoenix he has been an awesome person. Not only is he an amazing skateboarder but he has always been the nicest person. He is still living life to the fullest. Follow him on http://www.onesickrace.com.

lee is a legend here in phoenix. I wish him nothing but the best. Its really sad that a guy like him has to suffer like this. Im in nursing school and i see patients have to go through this. Its horrifying what MS can do to you.
Stay away from vaccinations. MS is most likely caused by vaccinations along with a shitload of other “diseases”. The info is out there with a little research. This is just one of the reasons why the medical system is very hard to trust. Big business for them, pain and suffering for the people. Even when you have insurance you usually cant use it to seek out natural alternative medicines that actually work, you are forced to go to the pharmacy and buy pills and other synthetic medications that dont work. Good luck Lee Bender. Wish you well. Even when you have insurance you usually cant use it to seek out natural alternative medicines that actually work, you are forced to go to the pharmacy and buy pills and other synthetic medications that dont work. Im sure people will hate my viewpoint but its straight up.
I feel ya, CBF.
Ever meet someone with Polio? Me neither. Thanks, vaccine!
Took a $1000 fall at whitehall last year…(and that was WITH health insurance) and a $4000+ fall at a contest skating a rail a couple years prior. The thought of getting hurt in any shape or form, scares me to death….Health care is fucked. Pain killers and physical therapy were my saving grace. I try not to think about getting hurt, but it’s always a factor.
We can pay ball players billions to kick, throw or toss a ball around…actors millions to get wasted on TMZ, but we can’t get enough money together for unsung heros..busdrivers, teachers, a coffee shop employee, or a skateboarder like Lee himself…Our priorities are all over the place.
agreed. thats why i dont give one crap about celebs sports stars or any of that junk. skate till i die.
